I stopped in to tell everyone not to give up on me. I have thought about closing down my blog but it makes me want to start crying so I am working on a way to continue to blog and to visit all my great bloggy friends but not take up a lot of time. I hope to be back soon and I miss you all so much. I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. Please don't you forget about me because I have not forgot any of you!

Dear One, I fear you can't do both. Continue to blog _and_ continue to visit/comment in all your bloggy friends. Without it taking up so much time. -le sigh-
At least, I've never figured it out. So if you do, please share.
Something has to give. Because there is just so much time in our day. 24 hours, no matter who we are. And those 24 hours have to be prioritized, so it's best for _us_. I've found that I simply can not do it all. Blog, visit/comment, and have a Real Life, off the Net. Something has to give.
And each of us has to figure out, for ourselves, what has to give. And then, not feel guilty about our decision.<--That's the rub!!! ,-)
Maybe the decision to not feel guilty, is the first step in this process...?

Definitely DON'T close down your blog. We would really miss you then. Just take a break as needed and come back when you have time. I notice that many other bloggers are needing to take a break this summer due to family issues, vacations, needing to work on yard, etc etc etc....So don't feel bad that you need to take a break. We will still be here and we won't forget you. I won't anyway! LOL!

hello roberta anne,i dont think anyone could forget you..your not the only one enjoying there summer,alot of people are not on much either,i was off for a few weeks and some times longer then that,i love spending time outside,going places,there just isnt enough time to do every thing..so you have a great summer and ill see you when ever you stop by..
We miss you too! Don't worry about your blog. Just don't make it part of your "to-do List". If you do that then it is not fun any longer. When you come back we will be here with open arms!

Darlin', I am feeling your pain. I think we are all going thru the same thing.
You know, when I first started blogging a couple years ago, things seemed calm..I posted what I wanted to post, didn't even THINK about how many comments I might get...it now seems to be almost a personality contest. I am not sure I am liking where it seems to be going. i really didn't like the FOLLOW ME feature when it first started...afraid feelings were going to get hurt. Then, they started offering chances at giveaways if you signed up to follow...I don't know exactly what to do...I even thought of turning off my comments but I don't want to do that! I guess it is all just a sign of the times...it's the same way on Facebook. Oh, well....
I do hope you figure out a way to keep your blog without having to spend so much time at it. Be sure to let ME know...:O)

Ohhh NOOO you cant even think of leaving. Roberta, so many of us are not blogging much right now. Thats ok, we are doing what we should be doing, enjoying the warmer weather, being outside, our families, jobs..etc. Its just a time that I sense so many of us embrace because we all know the warm weather is not for long.
I surely could not STAND your being out of blogland.
Forget about a cute little doll like you, never! It takes up our time but you know, even if you just post when you want to and read when you can, it's still fun! Come winter things will slow down and we'll be visting more often. Let us know what's going on in your neck of the country!

Course we didn't forget you... and blogger breaks are so good for the soul... I found, for me, to only spend a certain amount of time a day on my blog... Course dong a tablesape or project doesn't count... I mean actually on the computer... and it really helps organize my day and motivate me to get things done too...
